John o' Groats to Keiss
The opening stage of the trail leaves the iconic John o' Groats signpost and heads south along dramatic coastal cliffs past Duncansby Stacks, Freswick Bay and the ruins of Bucholie Castle before arriving at the sandy beach village of Keiss.
